‘If you play with paper you’re bound to get cut’ - 11th of March

I am so grateful for my sister Rebecca, its her birthday today - Happy Birthday Rebecca! (note: My three siblings are all born within five days of each other (although different years, obvs) in March, what’s up with that parents?) I am so grateful I get to hang out with her this weekend. I am so grateful I have two amazing sisters, I feel so spoilt. I am so grateful I got to speak with Alison last night. I am so grateful she loved her present.  I am so grateful that I don’t start work til 12pm today, I have such a beautiful, relaxed morning ahead of me. I am so grateful for all the fresh food I have in my fridge right now. I am so grateful for all the organic and vegetarian options that are available these days. I am so grateful I found a store that sells almond milk, I have quite the smoothie planned for this morning! I am so grateful that each new day is a fresh start.

Wouldn’t it be nice to perfect the art of the home hair dye? I mean, I’m pretty good now, but wouldn’t it be nice to go pro?

Today I intend to feel zesty.

I love the range of emotions experienced while watching amateur theatre, last night there were moments that made me laugh until I cried and other times where I was desperately praying for an act of god to put an end to the extreme tedium- what a roller coaster. I love how intense my economics tutor is, boy loves his supply and demand. I love Quorn products. I love my ladybird brooch. I love the first dip on a new bus pass. I love Zombie Ghost Train. I love Alex’s ‘17 “Brilliant” Ideas For You To Steal At Will’, especially this one:

Strip It!

In the spirit of Bring It OnStep UpStep Up 2: The Streets and Stick It, a rag-tag team of strippers must band together to save their beloved club from demolition. Lessons are learned. Corporate fat cats are defeated. Soul-stirring montages ensue.

I would watch that.

Affirmation du jour

f*ck it!

Less than perfect thoughts, diet, relationship or outcome? F*ck it. Lack of motivation? F*ck it. Feeling sub par? F*ck it. Nothing matters, really, so stop trying so hard. Just be, just allow, just smile, and it will happen.

I am excited to be getting my hair cut this afternoon! I am excited for pump tomorrow morning!!
