I am so grateful I woke up this morning and went for a run. I am so grateful for my blender – such a trooper. I am so grateful for spell check. I am so grateful I am getting better at breathing slowly and deeply during meditation. I am so grateful I can incorporate meditation into my daily routine. I am so grateful to be getting more emotionally fit every day. I am so grateful for this process of consciously and selectively creating my life. Wayne Dyer says ‘if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change‘ and I think that is so true! I spend all day thinking about what to write in these posts and I can tell you that constantly looking and finding things to appreciate in the world around me is truly a great way to be. Life just keeps getting better and better, its a snowball effect.
Wouldn’t it be nice to get my hair cut? Wouldn’t it be nice to make a new running playlist? Wouldn’t it be nice to bake some bread or maybe some muffins? Wouldn’t it be nice if Coles sold almond milk?

Today I intend to catch myself in any negative thought patterns, to analyse their validity and to steer my mind in a more fruitful direction. I love vanilla Diet Coke. I love Millionaire Hot Seat. I love early marks. I love Cadbury mini eggs. I love pretending that people who randomly walk out of lectures are actually storming out in outrage over the content of the lecture slides (maybe they are???) I love having fresh ink cartridges in my printer. I love my PO box. I love discount gym memberships. I love Arrested Development. I love feeling productive. I love that my general education class (which I chose solely because it was offered online) is looking like it will actually be pretty interesting. I love people who are passionate about what they do. I love that new resources are always coming into my life at just the right time. I love that all you have to do is ask and what you need will come. Affirmation du jour I create my own luck. Opportunity and serendipity abound, I just need to open the door to let them in. I am excited for tax time*. I am excited for the Easter Show! I am excited to do some baking. I am excited for the time when I have a business card, although I suppose I could get one right now… xx *I just enjoy doing my return, ok?!** **that weird isn’t it? Maybe I shouldn’t have dropped Accounting after all?*** ***Nah, just kidding, Accounting is the worst!
